OUR IMPACT

Our achievements… from one to many

Since its inception, WIMA has successfully established a network of women-owned agricultural machinery, including 6 tractors, 2 combine harvesters, 25 threshers, solar-powered sprayers, power tillers, and water pumps. These machines are strategically deployed to serve rural communities in Kano, Jigawa, and Kaduna States, with operations managed by state coordinators who earn commissions on the services they facilitate.

WIMA’s innovative model empowers women across West Africa. State coordinators are responsible for aggregating service demands within their respective states. Furthermore, they build a strong local presence by recruiting and training female booking agents in each ward, effectively expanding WIMA’s reach and membership.

As WIMA continues to grow, it actively promotes the acquisition and utilization of a diverse range of mechanization equipment, providing women with sustainable income-generating opportunities.
